Price per night per cottage (2 guests sharing) US$ 175.00
Add US$ 25.00 for every additional guest (Max 5 guests in Cottage Adam and max 4 in cottage Eve).
- up to 6 years are free of charge
- between 6 and 12 years pay 50%
Note: We can provide full-board on request at US$ 45.00 per person per day (breakfast, lunch and dinner).
Transfers from Mfuwe Airport can be arranged upon request.
Use of gas freezer at US$15,00 per night. Note: This will be charged automatically when you are booking our self catering option. If you do not want to use the gas freezer, please let us know and we will not include it in the invoice.

We offer special rates and conditions for professional film crews staying for a long term. Please enquire.
Checking in and checking out
Guests are expected to check-in after 14:00 hrs. and to check-out before 10:00 hrs. Please inform us in advance if you would like to check-out later, but do not forget it takes about 2 hours to reach Mfuwe Airport.

Conditions of Booking and Payment
Full payment is required when booking. Booking will be confirmed after payment. If you are booking less then 4 weeks before arrival then your booking can only be confirmed after payment. Please note that we can not guarantee your booking when payment arrives too late in our bank account.
Payments can be made by bank transfer as detailed on our invoice. Please note, that bank transfer costs must be borne by the guest. We do not provide credit card or other bank services on site. On site payments can be done in cash, preferably in Zambian Kwachas, but we also accept US dollars (excl. 100 USD dollar notes), UK Pounds or Euros using the rate of the day.

The cancellation charge, expressed as a percentage of the total price, is as follows:
91 or more days prior to arrival – 30% (non-refundable deposit). This will confirm your booking.
60 days prior to arrival – 100%
Anyone staying at Malama Umoyo Cottages must carry his or her own adequate comprehensive personal travel, cancellation and medical insurance. Please take into consideration that there are no fences and wild animals are able to roam around the area freely.
By requesting for a quotation or reservation, you understand and agree to the conditions as mentioned above, unless otherwise agreed.
Note on extra services:
If you elect not to be full board and decide on self catering then please be aware that you are expected to bring your own food and drinks. There is a shop in Malama village with basic supplies. We would advise that you do your (last) shopping and refueling in Petauke, Chipata or Mfuwe. However: If you request in advance we can ask the shop keeper to provide some groceries for you.
