Malama Umoyo Bush Camp is situated in one of the most beautiful remote areas in the South Luangwa Valley. Only 40km from Mfuwe and 8km from the Lusangazi gate. This is a paradise for the nature-loving tourist.

There are not many places left like this in Africa: Located on a beautiful bend in the Luangwa River, Malama Umoyo Bush Camp is a small, luxury bush camp close to the secluded Lusangazi Gate in the southern part of the South Luangwa National Park – exclusive and private.

At Malama Umoyo Bush camp we have two self contained, two bedroomed luxury chalets, The bathrooms have western style flushing toilets and modern rainfall style showers.

Relax on your cottage veranda or enjoy a sundowner on the large wooden deck as the sun sets over the Luangwa River where elephants cross, waterbucks come to drink and baboons play. Enjoy the abundance of magnificent birds whilst Luangwa’s renowned hippos serenade you.

Whilst ideal for couples, we can also accommodate families in our two bedroomed cottages.
